Thanks, I was trying to do something different.I like the way you incorporated the deflectors on that Starfleet ship, it's an interesting solution to the 'where is it' question and the non-standard symmetry is unique.
Yep, every year I try to do some kind of mashup. Last year was an Enterprise with a Millennium Falcon in place of the saucer.Oh man, I love those statues! A Star Destroyer with Galaxy nacelles, such delicious blasphemy.
How many sub-components is the Gunstar? I asume the deathblossom petals are glued on?

It's 7 parts, all together. The petals are each a separate part that go in to a slot, the body is 2 halves, and the cockpit in the front is a separate part.
More stuff soon, started a couple more new things last night.

Interesting thing about the Gunstar. That "cockpit" at the front is actually the Gunner's Nest, where our hero Alex, played by Lance Guest, sat. The actual cockpit is back against the engine pod, where Grig, played by Dan O'Herlihy, sat and ran everything that wasn't actually firing the weapons.
I mean it is, but it isn't. You know what I'm saying?
Wait, it isn't?
