That medical tape hurts like hell when it gets pulled off. That will probably bother her more than the labor.

Not if the doc used staples. Any time I had medical tape on a wound, I just allowed it to wear off.

Oh, I didn't mean on the incision, I meant on the IV in her arm and the tape securing the catheter for her epidural anesthesia.
But I can understand why you would not want to pull tape that was covering staples...ouch!
  Oops, good catch!  I've been through so much of that I just grit my teeth and hope the nurse rips the tape off quickly.  As for staples, no need to tape over them.We use essential cookies to make this site work, and optional cookies to enhance your experience.
