MOAR PICS

Congrats, TheSeeker!

I've been really itching to use my camera outside but the weather is not cooperating. I've heard of this mythical concept called "spring". It sounds nice.

I want one! And how cool is that name?! :bolian: She is beautiful so you must keep us updated with plenty of pics.

(And I am shocked that all of you can't hear my biological clock ticking now. Every time I see a baby it goes into overdrive. I need a uterus! Anyone game to let me borrow one?)

You could use my uterus. I built one out of a hefty cinch sack, a brick, some string, silly putty, and an old copy of the Wall Street Journal.

It may not be 100% reliable.

^ Sounds good! I wonder what our child would like though? Would it have my intense blue eyes and your draw string for easy lifting?

But all kidding aside, I have a feeling you would be a great dad Axiom. If I thought I could make you happy I would be first in line with you to fill out a contract with a surrogate. :bolian:

I'm backing away slowly from this entire discussion, because I'm entirely satisfied with just being an uncle, for several reasons, most of which is that 1) I'd make a shitty dad, and 2) See #1.

Fun fact: My youngest nephew is named Kai. And no, my brother is not a DS9 fan.

^How were you involved with it to begin with?

Stop beating yourself up man. I'm sure you'd be a great dad; you just don't know it yet because you aren't one yet. What guy out there thinks/knows he'll be a great parent? Answer: None.

Bright stars, positive outlook. Embrace it!

Greetings from the other side of the world. I'm in Japan now and although I am super busy I have a couple pictures to share. The first is just me and two of my fellow trainees at the creepy training facility we had to stay at this week. It sucked and had no internet access, so I'm really glad to be in a regular hotel at the moment.

Then this is from the welcome party we had last night. The company's entire staff was there. They're an awesome bunch, very helpful and fun. Even the CEO, who looks incredibly serious, is actually pretty wild and partied with us as hard as any of the trainees a third his age. Unfortunately I don't want to post pictures because who knows if it'd get anyone in trouble. But one of my bosses did okay me to facebook this next image, so I figure it'd be alright here too. She was pretty cool too, except when it came time for her to make a speech at the party, as all the other staff did. She playfully refused to do it, so the CEO came over and started dragging her out of her seat, at which point she latched onto my arm. It was all in good fun but she's stronger than she looks and my arm freaking hurts today.

My new SmartMeter was installed today! Now the Government can invade my privacy and track my electrical usage. :techman:

Good luck with that; since they have been installed in some places here people’s electric bills have increased 500%. I hope that doesn't happen to you.

Plus it's not the government that's going to watching him, it's the electricity company.

Marc,

You obviously aren't well acquainted with the thinking of conspiracy theorists

Here are Mom and baby less than 24 hours after birth.

I think she looks pretty good for someone who went through 16 of active labour and then a c-section. She's one tough cookie!

Congratulations :-) What a absolutly gorgeous little baby girl.

Aw, I'd give you mine, but it's on it's last legs. And when i saw pictures of this gorgeous baby i could hear mine sobbing! I want HER!

I don't believe that for one second. NOT ONE!
