Look how scary I am!

Me facing a decision I'd literally have to live with for the next 12 or so years...

Helena is a great little pup. She'll be 6 months in a few days, which means she off to the vet for her little snip trip next week. She's getting longer and taller, but not filling in much yet. She's about 35 lbs right now. I suspect she'll be on the smaller side. Compared to Rupert though, most things are small.

She and Rupert get along well, when one pushes the other too far, the self regulate pretty well.

We are heading up to Wells, ME tomorrow for a lazy 3 day weekend. It'll be the first time Helena has seen open water (it's all been frozen since shortly after we got her) so I'm curious to see what she does.

My birthday was yesterday, and although I am much too busy in the middle of the week to have a real celebration, my lovely Italian roommate made homemade tiramisu -- even the mascarpone was fresh and homemade, and the 4 of us had a nice dessert. Bad phone camera quality pic:

The real party begins this weekend.

Happy Birthday! I'll be a gent and won't ask what multiplier one should apply to the three candles on the tiramisu. Which, by the way, looks well tasty. So do you, of course, but that rather goes without saying! Homemade tiramisu? It seems you've found very useful new roommates. I suggest hanging onto them for dear life... at least until you extract all their best recipes from them. :D

My god, do you ever take a bad pic?
Of course, I just never post them.

Happy Birthday, btw, I'm a March baby too.
Thanks, and the same to you! All the best babies are born in March, you know.

I'll give you a hint, it is divisible by 3.

Oh honey, We all offered to marry her. Spaghetti, tiramisu, and she's been here only two months.
Happy Birthday THESTRANGEQUARK!!!! What a great picture! How adorable are you!!?!?!?
Is that rhetorical? Because my adorableness is quantifiable and well-documented.

My second attempt at making a custom Trek outfit has worked out a lot better than expected.

I've only two major concerns... a) I shouldn't be allowed near a sewing machine as I get obsessed with silly projects and b) I'm not sure why I'm not single.

Your Enterprise is showing. ;)

Happy birthday, tsq. Whatever birthday is divisible by 3, congratulations.

Me, I'm a May baby. (Fun fact: Paul Winfield from ST II shares my birthday) My next b-day will not be divisible by 3, but it will be...oh hell, I'll just say it: 40.

nah, seriously, I could really give a damn about turning 40. As long as you have your health, be happy WHATEVER age you are.
