I really wish there had been more DS9 ties into "Voyager." Not only because the two main casts have more in common with each other than either of them do with the TNG bunch, but there are so many ways DS9 should have come into "Voyager," story-wise.
The Caretaker took ships from all over the galaxy. That should include the Gamma Quadrant. I wish Voyager had encountered a stranded Dominion ship, with a crew fighting over whether to try returning home to their Founder "gods," or bask in their newfound freedom and make their own lives.
And speaking of Founders...they send baby Changelings out into the galaxy, as a regular routine. Voyager should have encountered at least one, in the Delta Quadrant.
