Are we supposed to be shocked by this "revelation?"

I am not surprised but it does sort of symbolically kind of represent the lack of great art being made. The idea that you have a movie were the actors spend most of their time interacting with people and things that aren't even their co-stars feels like it is not something that lends itself to becoming a great movie.

I think they did that in Endgame. Paltrow once said she was unsure of what film she was filming for. I think the group scene at Tony’s funeral was a composite shot.

That was my impression when I saw it, but it turns out they actually were physically there together, and it took the filmmakers a year to work out the logistics of getting all those big stars together in the same location. The only fakery (aside from creating CG characters) was that they told the cast it was for a wedding scene, not revealing it was actually a funeral until they arrived for the shoot.

This article has links to video and photos showing them all together:

I give them a pass on that one considering the high number of people that have to be present for such as a scene, most of whom have very busy schedules. It would be nearly impossible to ensure everyone can show up during that one day, which would include costuming, make-up, and other factors.

It can see it being tough to get all those actors together at the same time. Paltrow's comment was made when she said she'd never been in a Spider-Man movie. In retrospect, I can completely understand her confusion.

Confession time: for all of my hesitation and prejudgment, I've found myself actually enjoying WandaVision. I still don't entirely understand how Wanda psychologically got from the climax of Endgame to creating the Hex, but it's highly possible that I'm not supposed to.

It's the best MCU tv show IMO. The Agatha show that spins off from it was also surprisingly very good as well.

Paltrow only said the "I didn't know I was in a Spider-Man Movie" thing because they filmed all her scenes for various movies all at once since they had her on set. She knew she was doing scenes for some Marvel movie, but since they told her they were doing "All her scenes" at once she didn't know which ones would go where.
