While vague, his comments are encouraging. He had a certain logline to follow but he could do it the way he wanted and was able to suggest certain things that weren't inherently part of the story in the first place.

I'd be down for a Scarjo-directed film about Yelena.
I don't have any big issue with it though it would probably be a good thing to wait until we see how good this "Eleanor the Great" is. As a Trek fan my thoughts go. Would she be like a Nimoy or Frakes or flop like Shatner though personally I think Trek 5 is better than people give it credit for.
Both Avengers movies have now been delayed, which means they've got nothing coming out for a year and a half after 'Fantastic Four'.

But there's no winning here for Marvel. Stick to the strict release dates and they're accused of rushing the job, push back the dates and they're accused of not knowing what they're doing.
A silly notion in this day and age, but I rather wait and see the film before I cast stones. That said, I know certain people can't wait to cast stones because that's what gives them joy.

Which is interesting because originally the film was set to come out between the two Avengers films, much like Ant-Man and the Wasp (also Captain Marvel but it was a prequel), but now it's going to come out before both. I wonder how that rescheduling will effect the film, if at all.
Ah, I hate delays. Damn damn damn. The only positive thing is that it's not delayed by a year, only a few months more. But still, these things always sting.
I'm curious about that too since it was rumored to be something of a continuation of Spiderman's story after Doomsday (i guess him dealing with Doom looking like Tony). I remember when Doctor Strange 2 was moved to be released after Spiderman No Way Home and it had a big impact on the stories of both films. I hope the rumor isn't true and Spiderman can lead into Doomsday and Secret Wars.

I hope that's sarcasm. He basically saved the last season of "Picard". Personally I thought there was too much fan wanking and
