Director Matt Shakman gives an update on Fantastic Four, including the fact that the leads have all been cast but they haven't been announced due to the actor strike.

Curious development. I wonder if they'll be leaked at some point (accidentally or not...) before the strike concludes.

Either way, I look forward to the official announcement, whenever that may happen (after the strike, of course).

Yeah, I can't wait to finally get the casting announcement!
I wonder what all the so-called leakers on Reddit and Twitter will have to say for themselves if it's nobody they confidently announced in the past?
What do they usually say?

Absolutely nothing. Ignore and move on to new bullshit. That's how 'leakers' work.
Or just repeat the same old bullshit next time too. Case in point, youtube just recommended a video on my feed where the thumbnail proudly proclaims that because 'Ahsoka' was "such a disaster" that Kathleen Kennedy has been fired . . . again. What I wouldn't give to see them actually come up with new bullshit for a change, rather than try and brute force the whole "even a broken clock is right twice a day" thing as a means to manifest their sad little fantasies.

Hey, it worked for "Anakin's Force ghost will switch back and forth between Anakin and Vader".

The Little Bullshit that Could eventually won the day!

For me, the real problem with Disney Lucasfilm is that it lacks a single visionary. You can have all the writers and directors the franchise needs, but it needs a single visionary. And Lucasfilm no longer has one. Kathleen Kennedy is not a visionary. She is a film producer and nothing else.

OK, as much as I've been enjoying what we've been getting from Star Wars since the Disney sale, I will admit that this is a fair point. I think the Sequel Trilogy ending up kind of disjointed is a perfect example of this.
