Same here; it has been quite awhile since I found a MCU film satisfying to some degree. I believe Captain Marvel may have been the last.
Most are in the hit-and-miss category. Its just that the MCU has far more misses than hits, and has now passed the James Bond film franchise in terms of having more disappointing films than winners in its catalog, and that's not good, since the Bond series has suffered from a majority of its entries being underwhelming to awful.
If they were going to go ahead with a black Xavier, it feels like they should have avoided using Patrick Stewart when they had a clean slate. I mean, 838 Maria Rambeau looks just like 616 Maria Rambeau, 838 Peggy looks just like (younger) 616 Peggy, the actor who played Black Bolt in Inhumans also plays 838 Black Bolt, but suddenly Patrick Stewart becomes Giancarlo Esposito?

Yup. It's the same approach as the Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths -- some alternate counterparts are physical doubles, while others are not, depending on whether there was a previous adaptation of those characters with different performers. It's one of those things you just have to shrug off as a storytelling conceit, an excuse for crossing over current and legacy actors, and just not worry about the in-universe logic.
Heck, according to Multiverse of Madness, there's a universe where people are cartoons and a universe where they're paint. So one guy looking different in two universes is fairly easy to accept in comparison.
I can't see Disney making a show about a psychopath who is worshiped by real-world fascists and neo-nazis.
Why would you even ask that question framed like that "a black Xavier". We all know that Patrick Stewart is not going to be the 616 Xavier if one does appear. The role IS going to need to be recast, and precedent has already been set that in the multiverse, some variations of a character look the same while others do not. Given both of these conditions, the question is only "who will be taking on the role of Xavier?" and there is no limitation as to what skin colour the character should have.
I can. Disney is a billion-dollar corporation. They like making money. And they had no qualms about putting the Punisher series on D+ with the rest of the former Netflix shows.
I've read that Marvel has already changed the skull logo because of its use by right wing groups. The Punisher was never meant to be a hero and as long as any series makes that clear then I don't have a problem with a new season.
And here I was hoping when I read her name here that she was coming back as Claire.
