Focusing on weird, obscure Marvel characters (villains and heroes/allies alike) was a trademark of the John Byrne Sensational She-Hulk.
I don’t recognize the costumeMan-Bull, a mostly hidden Jack of Hearts and I'm not sure who it is on the right.
And I completely skipped past the key point that Blonsky is out of jail and running a self-help group.
I love that they're drawing from both John Byrne and Dan Slott's runs. And now, thinking back on it, I'm pretty sure Porcupine showed up in the John Byrne run.Focusing on weird, obscure Marvel characters (villains and heroes/allies alike) was a trademark of the John Byrne Sensational She-Hulk.
The Ironheart suit. Hopefully not the final version as it looks more like War Machine than anything from the comics.
Good grief that's an ugly suit.

Costumes in behind-the-scenes photos usually look worse than they do onscreen, since the lighting, exposure, camera angles, etc. aren't optimized to make them look good.

I mean...it's still an ugly suit. Not from a filmmaking perspective just looking at it and going, "Ugh."Costumes in behind-the-scenes photos usually look worse than they do onscreen, since the lighting, exposure, camera angles, etc. aren't optimized to make them look good.
I'm assuming this is the first version or early version of the suit and will be refined as the story progresses similar to IM1. It's a common trope having a suit that evolves, most recently in Ms. Marvel.
Is it though? In the comics wasn't Iron Man's primary nemesis The Mandarin? You know, the guy with ten magical rings? This may just be an homage to that detail that never made it into the MCU version, and has now been sort of shifted across to Riri. And the villain in 'Ironheart' is... The Hood. Which seems a bit of an odd choice as he's a supernatural character, or rather a character using a supernatural object belonging to Dormammu to become a criminal.

We'll have to see what happens, but it seems like a cool way to bring Wong into the series. Strange has already faced off against Dormammu.
My immediate first thought is that they were both characters highly influenced by Brian Michael Bendis. Ironheart was created by Bendis, and while he didn't create The Hood, he certainly picked up the character and ran with him in his Avengers run and elsewhere. And the villain in 'Ironheart' is... Do we know that Wong is going to be in Ironheart, or are you just figuring he's bound to be because he's in everything else these days? He does seem to have become the new Nick Fury.
First pics of Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk on the set of Echo (with possible spoiler).
Kingpin doesn't seem to be suffering from any injuries to his eyes or face. Could be a flashback. Could be something else entirely.
