Or not? vibranium cancels force against it so would it act the same way?

I don't think it makes sense for vibranium to be immune to aerodynamic forces, because those forces are what let it function like a Frisbee when thrown. The same physics that create drag also create lift, so you can't take advantage of one without being subject to the other.

Steve is propelled forward with the shield face out in a few movies and somehow this heavy metal thing does not slow him down midair. Or act remotely how something made of several pounds of a super heavy element should when thrown, which would be to fall almost immediately. Or be too heavy to lift for anyone but Steve.

Vibranium isn't super-heavy. Wikipedia says it's got 1/3 the specific gravity of steel, making it a bit lighter than aluminum. After all, Steve isn't superstrong in the comics, just peak-human strength. The shield isn't Mjolnir.

I picked up the first Spider-verse crossover for no other reason than I heard May-Day played a prominent role. I haven't heard that much about the spider verse sequel. Is MayDay equally as prominent, or is she just wallpaper (meaning a character that just shows up so they could say he or she was there)?
She’s not in the main story arc, but she’s a major part of a side arc called Spider Girls where she, the 616 Spidergirl, and Spiderling (Anna-May), Peter and MJ’s daughter from another alternate universe where Peter and MJ stayed married. Their relationship plays a big part since in Peter and MJ losing their first child as in the 616 universe still happened, so May Day is the older sister Anna-May never got to know.

Anna-May is in her own comic with Spider-Man and MJ who is able to use Spider-Man’s powers due to some tech stolen from a villain Spidey stopped. They work together as a team since most of their Earth’s heroes are dead. It’s Spider-Man: Renee Your Vows, you prefer Peter and MJ married it’s great. Especially since Peter balancing being a dad and superhero is interesting. They ended up having to let Anna-May know his secret since he was sitting around the table in his costume working on his gadgets a lot and it was hard to get her to not notice. Especially once she developed her own powers.

I love Earth 982, AKA MC2. Possibly as much or more as earth-616.

I always enjoyed that universe, even though it seems like it was forgotten very quickly. The MC2 Spider-Girl is one of the only teenage Spider characters that I liked (along with the Earth 616 Anya Corazon Spider-girl, actually, who is another character that disappeared into limbo). I also liked some of the other MC2 characters that no one talks about, like Wild Thing (daughter of Elektra and Wolverine), and the Fantastic 5.

it's a happy, if rare, day when you and I are 100% in agreement.

There's apparently a twitter account @RogerWardell posting a lot of potential information about future MCU movies. All rumors, obviously, but this account seems to have pretty much perfectly predicted a LOT of information about Endgame (from Fat Thor to Jarvis to scene recreations and Hail Hydra), so quite possibly something real there.

The most interesting one to me is plans for a possible Thunderbolts trilogy starring Zemo, General Ross, Ghost, Abomination and Justin Hammer with the Leader as the first villain (hopefully it will also introduce Songbird at the very least, if not any other original TBolts).

But they're also talking about a possible Black Knight film, discussions about Power Pack and Ms. Marvel both of which may be made as films or may be made as long-running Disney+ tv series, the introduction of Clea and Brother Voodoo, and some interesting possibilities about Guardians 3 which I'll put in spoilers as it may be more than people necessarily want to know.

Apparently Drax's daughter may be alive and we might see the High Evolutionary as Rocket's creator (as well as Lady Lylla, Rocket's otter girlfriend).

Isn't Mark Hamill in apparent talks to play Rocket's creator? That would make HIM the High Evolutionary.

A solid metal shield made of one element, heavier than 118 on the Table, would be considerably heavy. Unless Peter is right and it simply doesn't obey the laws of physics at all.

That would be very cool indeed.

What is Rocket's comic origin? I'm guessing it doesn't involve High Evolutionary?

Riiiiight, because nothing about flying people and mass-changing shapeshifters and sorcerors is inconsistent with known physical law. Seriously? After all that, it's the density of a metal you refuse to bend on????

Hm. The shield seems pretty light here...

The robot staff of an asylum planet did a more benign version of the classic AI rebellion and, fed up with their jobs, genetically modified the animals of the planet to be the inmates' replacement caretakers.

It's a very specific form of immersion breaking.

In the comics he comes from a planet where robots had captured and enhanced animals to look after mental patients that were housed there.
