The Fantastic Four are dissolved in the comics because nobody bought their comics so they decided to try something different.

For anyone who hasn't had the 'pleasure', the Future Foundation vol 2 and the run of Fantastic Four it tied in to were almost certainly the worst mainstream comics I've read in 40 years of comic reading. Truly, truly dire.

It's shame, because the preceeding stuff by Hickman wasn't bad and neither was the 'wrap up' story by Robinson.

Have we heard anything about Loki being in Infinity War?
I saw this article recently
http://www.digitalspy.com/movies/th...leston-thor-ragnarok-is-his-last-loki-outing/
Slightly misleading, but basically he himself doesn't know yet.

Thinking of Cap Marvel, who do people think will be next "new to the MCU" hero character we'll hear about? So not ones we haven't seen yet as we know they're coming- Inhumans, Iron Fist, Captain Marvel etc. But who will be brand new after all those, whether it be for film or Netflix etc.
She-Hulk, Spider-Woman, Captain Britain... My guess would maybe be a rebooted Blade, probably for Netflix I could forsee

I'm hoping for Moon Knight, probably on Netflix
I'm hoping for Rich Rider/Nova in GotG 3
Goliath in an Ant-Man & Wasp sequel. Either Bill Foster or go the Clint Barton angle.
Spider-Woman/Jessica Drew in a Captain Marvel film.
A mention of the Savage Land in a Black Panther film would be awesome even if no Ka-Zar, just a mention.

If Hiddleston doesn't do any more, I like the reborn 'young Loki' in Agent of Asgard comics...

Nova would be a pretty great addition to the film franchise, I think. They don't have anything planned yet for 2020, which coincidentally is the same year DC is planning to release Green Lantern Corps...

I'd love to see a new Blade series on Netflix, too.

We already got introduced to the Nova Corps in GotG so it really wouldn't be that hard to bring one of the Earth Novas into the MCU now. In the movie the Nova Corps was just protecting their homeworld, but after everything that happened I could see them bringing in people from other worlds.
I'm not really familiar with many of the other characters yet, but now that they have Spider-Man, I could see them bringing in Spider-Woman. They could probably bring Venom in too, and hopefully do a better job with him than SM3.
I don't know a lot about him yet, but Moon Knight does seems like a popular choice for the Netflix series, and what little bit I know about him makes me think he would a cool character to see in live action.
I really wish Marvel could get the rights to Fantastic Four, they would be a perfect fit for the MCU.

"The Avengers" said that Thanos would be coming after him if he failed to conquer the Earth. So I'd love to see Loki running to the Avengers to protect him from Thanos in IW1 and that's what starts the story and that's how our heroes learn about Thanos.
They're probably waiting until after Thor: Ragnarok. Loki's going to be in that one, and since it sounds it will be a big game changer for the Asgard characters they probably don't want to reveal anything about anybody other than Thor.

According to the MCU Wiki, GotG established a "Nova Empire" with multiple member species already included.

http://marvelcinematicuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Nova_Empire
The Nova Empire is an intergalactic hegemony made up of multiple alien species that maintains a strict but benevolently personified rule over a good portion of the galaxy. While the Empire is made up of various alien races, it is ruled primarily by the Xandarians. Other races known to inhabit the government are the Krylorians, the Rainers, and the A'askavariians. The Nova Corps is the Empire's primary military and peacekeeping force.

That's a shame. I've been meaning to read FF vol. 2 because it's got a significant Inhuman connection (including the last time Luna appeared, if I'm not mistaken). I had been thinking of checking that out.

I didn't think the Future Foundation and F4 books from Hickman were bad. Maybe a little overcomplicated, but full of interesting ideas. I probably could've followed them better if I'd read more of the preceding comics, though, since there were characters whose backstory I didn't know, like Dragon Man and the Wizard.

Expanding on the "Blade on Netflix" idea, ideally I'd like the first season to focus just on Blade, and then after that it would expand to become a Nightstalkers show, also starring Hannibal King and Frank Drake. (Or Francine Drake, if you prefer, I'd be okay with that.) It'd be especially cool if they could get Benedict Cumberbatch to cameo, since Doctor Strange was the one who brought the Nightstalkers together in the comics.

He was also a founding member of the Defenders...good luck with that.
Being an integral member of one team is not the same as just being someone who briefly appears to bring together another team. A cameo is a very different thing, and being a British actor I don't think Cumberbatch would find appearing very briefly in a Netflix production beneath him. (As long as the money's right, of course.) I mean, they got Samuel L. Jackson to appear in two episodes of an ABC series.

That is sorely disappointing. I recently bought the 1st and 2nd Hickman omnibus of Fantastic Four (which also includes Future Foundation), because I heard Hickman's run was one only good run on FF after Lee/Kirby and John Byrne's runs.

Damn.

I guess Marvel couldn't figure out a way to swing the Inhumans into the MCU. Maybe if they had the FF, things would be different. I wonder what this means for Agents of SHIELD.

Well, the project hasn't been officially cancelled. And the reason for the move is at least in part due to both Spider-Man: Homecoming and Ant-Man and the Wasp, neither of which were planned when Inhumans was announced, being added to an already crowded production schedule.

Right. I think Inhumans will still happen, it's just that Marvel needs to figure things out after all the reshuffling they've had to do. It probably wasn't the best option to launch the post-Infinity War MCU, to be honest.

He's referring to a run AFTER Hickman's run, which is indeed one of the best FF runs ever written.
