So, have there been any actual factual developments in Major's case or is this just a bunch of hearsay from people who weren't even there?

I don't think this has been posted here yet, but I followed a link to a story on TMZ last night with a few more details about what happened with Majors. It said he was in a taxi with his girlfriend, and got a text, possibly from another woman, and when she tried to get his phone, he hit her, and then grabbed her throat.
This supposedly came from the police report on the incident, so it is part of an official document and not just random hearsay.

I completely forgot Chiwetel Ejiofor is Mordo, and was going to suggest him, but obviously that won't work.

There's this

https://variety.com/2023/film/news/jonathan-major-alleged-assault-evidence-1235564860/

Variety said:
.“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows,” says criminal defense lawyer Priya Chaudhry. “We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.”

Chaudhry goes on to say there is video footage from the vehicle where the alleged incident took place, witness testimony from the driver and onlookers and two written statements from the woman recanting the allegations.

Sorry to be that guy, but EVERY rich / famous person's attorney says the same stuff.

Doesn't matter if their client shot someone dead in a room full of witnesses with 15 different videos from different angles, and the perpetrator loudly proclaiming, "I DID IT, AND I'M GLAD THE BASTARD IS DEAD!".

Indeed.

Liv Tyler will be returning as Betty Ross in Captain America New World Order. Makes sense, as if for whatever reason they can't get a hold of Bruce Banner, who we've seen go on unexpected extended extraterrestrial jaunts, Betty Ross is as close as they would have to an expert as to what exactly turned Sam Sterns into The Leader.

With Jennifer Walters rumored to appear in the movie as well, the fourth Captain America movie is shaping up to be a de facto entry in the Hulk franchise as well.

It is a bit odd that the best idea they could come up with for "Captain America 4" was to make "The Incredible Hulk 2"... minus the Hulk.

I would happily bet every penny in my bank account that the eighteen episodes announced will be split into two nine episode or three six episode seasons.
Excellent news. I initially balked at the idea of the announced eighteen episodes being split into two or three seasons. However, upon further thought, that may increase the chances for Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson finally showing up, as a result of there not being enough room for them in the first season for whatever reason (such as my previously theorized idea about them being Blipped and the first season takes place during that period).

Just saw the Liv Tyler news and I was on my way here to report it here. Honestly, I'm rather indifferent to that news since I've always been blah about her and her Betty was one of the few things I didn't like The Incredible Hulk back when I thought it was one of the best superhero films ever.

That said, it does make sense for her to show up here considering her connections with The Leader. I just still wished she was played by Jennifer Connelly (one of the few good things about that film...).

Finally! June 21 is about where I expected it to arrive (well, anytime June), even after The Marvels was delayed. I'm really looking to watching it!

Interesting timing for these announcements.
What? Has there been a barrage of controversial news as of late?! :shifty:

Well, Captain America 3 ended up being Avengers 2.5 minus Hulk and Thor...
Turnaround is fair play!

Liv Tyler returns as Betty Ross in Captain America 4: New World Order? Interesting, and yeah, the Leader is one of the villains, but the film--with Spellman as head writer & coming off of the momentum from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier--should not feel like Best MCU Hulk Outing 2.0 (unless Feige, et al., pull strings to take it in that direction). No matter how many years this takes place after TFATWS, Sam--and the world should still have some settling in with his earned role. That, and I want to see him mature into a far stronger leader (as a nod to the next Avengers film) by this time in his super-hero-ing.
