I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out who/what could appear as anyone in Spidey's history and coming up blank. Anyone got any speculation?

I think you covered it well. I agree there are two main storylines of the current Saga and they do like they're coming together well with the upcoming Avengers films. I'll admit that it wasn't handled nearly as well as the Infinity Saga but I don't think they're outright disasters as the doomsayers (heh) like to claim.

There are only a couple of things I'll add:

Charlize Theron's cameo as Clea played a role in a setting up the Incursions thread...but since we we're not getting another Strange film anytime soon (if ever), it seems like she'll be lost in the shuffle. Unless she happens to play a role in Secret Wars, which would make some sense considering Benedict Cumberbatch isn't even confirmed for Doomsday.

Werewolf by Night was suppose to be the launching point of monsters in the MCU, which undoubtedly Blade was supposed to play a role in, however, the question is who else were we supposed to get but haven't materialized yet? The special was one of the biggest highlights of this Saga and I'm sorry we haven't gotten more of those, no matter their content.

Spider-Man Brand New Day, which actually looks mainly like a street level entry by the trailers, but I'm sure it will also have a Multiverse connection.

This could be the rumored cameo from Yelena, which might place it squarely in the "rebuild the team" arc.

What am I missing?

Thor: Love and Thunder. We saw Thor's daughter in the trailer some time back, and Thor was offering a prayer to Odin regarding Love's safety.

I'm kind of hoping they'll end Secret Wars similarly to The CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths, in that even if universes from previous movie series are destroyed, they are restored by the end of it. Because, honestly, that synopsis of the leaked Doomsday script already has me up in arms. Bringing Tobey's Spider-Man back just to kill not just him, but his entire universe makes me not want to see this movie, and certainly not want to pay to see it. I like Tom Holland, but Tobey's "my" Spider-Man, - and before Anwar says something, I don't give a flying fuck that I'm old and nostalgic, or in a minority or whatever, this is how I feel about it, - , and I'd prefer them not bringing him back at all to having him and all other characters from those movies killed off at the beginning of the damn movie.
Seriously, I'm considering waiting to have it confirmed that this doesn't happen before buying a ticket, and if it happens and that universe is not restored by the end of Secret Wars, well, I'm mature enough to know I may mellow on the issue down the line, but right now I'm riled up enough that I see myself quitting the whole further MCU.

I hadn't seen this before, but there are some big problems with it that make me doubt it.
First of all there's no mention of the New Avengers (Thunderbolts), Wakandans, or Talokanil. The trailer also specifically shows scenes involving Shang-Chi and Cassie (I can't remember did she decide on a superhero codename yet?), but there's no mention of them in the trailer. It seemed like from the early marketing that the kids of the heroes were going to play a big role, but yet Franklin is barely mentioned in passing and there is no mention of Love at all.
We also already know that there are some characters/actors who in it that haven't been announced yet, but it only talks about the other spider-men, and I would have expected more than just them.

Seems like the worst use of the multiverse to me. As much money as this stuff makes and concepts like the multiverse have entered main stream popular culture - I wonder how much the average viewer really enjoy this type of storytelling? Or just going along with the trend because it’s taken over everything? Sounds like a fricking mess to me and I have grownup on these concepts my whole life. I am starting to miss the days when comic book adaptations deliberately left out the crazy ideas to appeal to mass audiences.

I'm the opposite, it always drove me crazy that the adaptation spent so long avoided the crazier stuff, so I'm thrilled they're finally embracing it.

For me, the strongest choices for who Sadie Sink is playing are Adriana "Ana" Soria (Spider-Queen), Cassandra Webb (Madame Web), and her (Cassandra's) granddaughter Charlotte Witter (Spider-Woman).

All 3 characters are Mutants with telepathic/telepathic-adjacent abilities, are villains/antagonists, and are actually associated with Spider-Man.

I'm honestly kind of hoping she isn't Jean Grey at this point, just because everyone is so convinced she is, that it's not really going to be a surprise if she is her, and I want her identity to be the kind of surprise the creative team clearly wants it to be.

We just had this exact same conversation, can we not start it again, please?
The one thing that has me the most intrigued, is that I have no idea who the bad guy, whether it's Sadie Sink's character or someone else, is. I've been wracking my brain and I can't come up with a Spider-Man villain who body jumps or controls people the way this guy or girl seems to.
Like I said before, the closest I can come up with is Mr. Negative, but we aren't seeing the visual effect his powers have, and it's more of a brain washing than totally taking control of the person the way Brand New Day's baddie is.

There's no way of knowing what the narrative benefit is going to be until we actually see the movie. Saying definitively that there would be no narrative benefit to her character, no matter who she is playing, before the movie is just blowing air out of your ass and it smells like it.

I mean, what's the narrative benefit of having the Hulk in a Spider-Man movie?
