Spoilers Marvel Cinematic Universe spoiler-heavy speculation thread

What grade would you give the Marvel Cinematic Universe? (Ever-Changing Question)

The part I don't trust is "everything is put back in the way it's supposed to be." I can believe they want the Fox X-Men to go off into the sunset in their own universe, but making the Fantastic 4 go back home again seems odd. They were introduced to be a one-and-done, with nothing more to do with the MCU now? Such poor planning.
Hi. Can I ask that you put this kind of stuff in spoiler tags? The movie hasn't come out yet. Thank you.

It should be noted that all this scripts stuff is not official and thus more speculation than spoilers. Granted if it comes true then I don't know what to call it.

Yeah, that's my attitude. These aren't so much spoilers as...hints?

Does seem like, looking at the trailer, that the leaker for Doomsday at least had access to a legitimate plot synopsis.

That said, it was likely an early plot synopsis, as entire teams (like the Thunderbolts/New Avengerz) were left out entirely. Clearly they have to do something in the movie.

I can picture Brand New Day ending something like this...

Spider-Man, The Hulk...

... and Jean Grey

Will return in Avengers Doomsday.

That is of course if certain casting rumors are true.

I was thinking if Deadpool is in Secret Wars for a little bit, if he's masked, RR just needs to do voice over work.

I believe most people yearning to graze against perfection, can pick his sexy body out of a line up, even in this advanced state of decay, which is why Ryan took the trouble to be all the dozens of different multiversal Deadpools in Deadopool 3... You know, except for Baby Deadpool and Lady Deadpool.

Actually, Ryan Reynolds only played Deadpool and Nicepool.

Even "Dancepool", who in the movie actually was the main Deadpool, was portrayed by a professional dancer.

Fun fact: One of the Deadpool variants was portrayed by Tom Holland's brother.

I remember being kind of disappointed when finding out that Dancepool wasn't played by Reynolds. I so wanted it to be him dancing to Bye,Bye,Bye.

I was sitting here thinking of the old Marvel adage that "it's all connected". How well has the Multiverse Saga connected everything together?

While thinking about this, I decided Marvel clearly has three branches going on right now, two of which will converge -- bringing forth a new Avengers team and the main Convergence storyline. Mostly separate from these, at least for the moment, is the street level storyline that began with the Netflix shows. Some stories that are part of the tapestry but don't seem to be directly part of the Doomsday story.

The reforming the team storyline starts with Black Widow and Falcon and Winter Soldier, then continuing into Captain America Brave New World and Thunderbolts. Black Widow also has a connection to the Hawkeye show, but I actually consider that part of the street level storyline. Shang-Chi could be put in here as well because we saw him essentially getting recruited at the end of his movie and we know he's in Doomsday. Fantastic Four introduced Doom.

The convergence storyline starts with the two seasons of Loki and WandaVision. Loki for obvious reasons and of course WandaVision sets up Wanda's Multiverse rampage in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse Madness, which was of course preceded by Spider-Man No Way Home where there were multiversal connections that might become relevant in the form of convergences.

WandaVision also set up Monica's story in The Marvels, which has has her winding up in the X-Men universe. Ms Marvel also sets up The Marvels, and her powerful bangles might play into the story somehow, and Iman Villani is actually rumored to appear in the movie. Secret Invasion also set up aspects of The Marvels.

QuantumMania also set up a lot of the multiversal stuff, and while we know that some of it is being abandoned, I can't imagine it will be ignored completely. Deadpool and Wolverine of course has a direct connection to Loki. What if? of course has direct connections to the Multiverse and even the Loki show.

The street level story would go through the Netflix shows, Hawkeye, Echo, Daredevil Born Again, Punisher One Last Kill, as well as Spider-Man Brand New Day, which actually looks mainly like a street level entry by the trailers, but I'm sure it will also have a Multiverse connection.

Projects that so far don't seem to have a direct connection to Doomsday right now (although I grant that this can change in an instant) are Eternals (despite one element of the story being picked up in Captain America), Guardians 3 and the holiday special (although we know Peter Quill will return) She-Hulk (despite connections to Hulk, Daredevil and Shang-Chi), Moon Knight, Wonder Man and Agatha All Along (although this connects back to WandaVision and presumably to the upcoming VisionQuest).

Also- Werewolf by Night (which introduced Man-Thing, who in the comics is the guardian of the "Nexus of All Realities". Something that could conceivably be touched on in these stories) and Moon Knight. Eyes of Wakanda (which obviously fits into the larger Wakanda story if not the Multiverse Saga)

What am I missing?

This isn't aging well. ;)
I wonder how many people will watch this movie. I've seen comments on Twitter ranging from "we're dying of excitement" to "no excitement at all." There's also the fact that the trailer and some scenes were leaked months before the CGI was even finished. It's even rumored that the script was leaked. Because of all this, some people aren't excited. My excitement is only a tenth of what it was during Endgame. Whether I'll see this movie in theaters is uncertain.
