I was sitting here thinking of the old Marvel adage that "it's all connected". How well has the Multiverse Saga connected everything together?
While thinking about this, I decided Marvel clearly has three branches going on right now, two of which will converge -- bringing forth a new Avengers team and the main Convergence storyline. Mostly separate from these, at least for the moment, is the street level storyline that began with the Netflix shows. Some stories that are part of the tapestry but don't seem to be directly part of the Doomsday story.
The reforming the team storyline starts with Black Widow and Falcon and Winter Soldier, then continuing into Captain America Brave New World and Thunderbolts. Black Widow also has a connection to the Hawkeye show, but I actually consider that part of the street level storyline. Shang-Chi could be put in here as well because we saw him essentially getting recruited at the end of his movie and we know he's in Doomsday. Fantastic Four introduced Doom.
The convergence storyline starts with the two seasons of Loki and WandaVision. Loki for obvious reasons and of course WandaVision sets up Wanda's Multiverse rampage in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse Madness, which was of course preceded by Spider-Man No Way Home where there were multiversal connections that might become relevant in the form of convergences.
WandaVision also set up Monica's story in The Marvels, which has has her winding up in the X-Men universe. Ms Marvel also sets up The Marvels, and her powerful bangles might play into the story somehow, and Iman Villani is actually rumored to appear in the movie. Secret Invasion also set up aspects of The Marvels.
QuantumMania also set up a lot of the multiversal stuff, and while we know that some of it is being abandoned, I can't imagine it will be ignored completely. Deadpool and Wolverine of course has a direct connection to Loki. What if? of course has direct connections to the Multiverse and even the Loki show.
The street level story would go through the Netflix shows, Hawkeye, Echo, Daredevil Born Again, Punisher One Last Kill, as well as Spider-Man Brand New Day, which actually looks mainly like a street level entry by the trailers, but I'm sure it will also have a Multiverse connection.
Projects that so far don't seem to have a direct connection to Doomsday right now (although I grant that this can change in an instant) are Eternals (despite one element of the story being picked up in Captain America), Guardians 3 and the holiday special (although we know Peter Quill will return) She-Hulk (despite connections to Hulk, Daredevil and Shang-Chi), Moon Knight, Wonder Man and Agatha All Along (although this connects back to WandaVision and presumably to the upcoming VisionQuest).
Also- Werewolf by Night (which introduced Man-Thing, who in the comics is the guardian of the "Nexus of All Realities". Something that could conceivably be touched on in these stories) and Moon Knight. Eyes of Wakanda (which obviously fits into the larger Wakanda story if not the Multiverse Saga)
What am I missing?
