Sony pictures - the people who like to make money. That they would make a central character someone who was most recently seen in a badly reviewed bomb is just not credible.

I know the MCU is cool with introducing characters that aren't well know, but I doubt the once suggested that Digific Writer suggested are happening. Especially considering the failure that was Madame Web.
She's also definitely not playing Jean Grey.
