While I don't mind them making them young I hope they can at least avoid modern speak to much I hate the idea of Professor X coming into a room in his chair and new outfit "My fellow mutants Check out my rizz." Logan "Love the Drip, boss man" "Scott I think the professor is just flexing." speaks Jean Grey. Professor X is then like "Everyone being a little salty I see. " and so forth.
I'm hoping they ditch the love triangle, especially since Cyclops and Jean have had a lot more importance to their characters the last several years and Logan hasn't been terribly relevant himself.

To be fair the Singer movies tried to split time between the adult X-men and the school drama

"Welcome to mutant high"

Also we had X-men Apocalypse with young X-men too.

It's just in it's nature since they live at a school to have teen drama.

The new X-Men movies set in the MCU will probably be apolitical, like other MCU movies, with every character making jokes and all characters except Professor X and Magneto being 15-16 year olds.

Nightcrawler "this guy hella sus no cap on god fr fr"

Better yet, do the research and have Kurt use whatever is the youthful German slang of today. No, I don't care if that confuses the viewers. In fact, all the better for it!

I'll have to check out that category on pornhub.

i'd be willing to help, but would have to go ask my nephews about it myself. I think using "digger" (from "Dicker", fat person) as an equivalent to "homie" is irritatingly still popular.

The X-Men movies do need to be allegorical but lets hope it's done well. I don't trust Disney's ability to something like to much. I would be very happy if the X-Men movies match the tone and allegorical strength of the X-Men 97 cartoon we just saw not that long ago.
