If I recall correctly, prior to the most recent rescheduling of the two Avengers movies, Brand New Day was scheduled between the two films. As of right now, Brand New Day is now scheduled ahead of both of them.

Otherwise, no, there aren't any films scheduled between the two and unless Brand New Day is also bumped down, I suspect that'll remain the case.

Yeah, that's why I asked. I was for sure the new Spidey was set between them but googling it yesterday while my cinema buddy and I were talking after F4, I realised that things had shifted.
Kinda curious what the plan is, especially without a Marvel panel at SDCC. Perhaps more will be know after D23.

Beat me to it! I'm really looking forward to it...even though I'm still bummed it's only four episodes. Doesn't seem long enough for a full story to bloom but I would love to be proven wrong.

I think it's going to be an anthology series with each episode taking place in a different era, so each episode is going to be more or less stand alone. The description on Wikipedia say it will follow Hatut Zaraze agents retrieving artifacts "throughout history", so that would see to support that too.

They are avoiding the most interesting aspects of doing a story about Wakanda and focusing it around the everyday citizens in modern day Wakanda. You got a great story just waiting to be told about a society that is great on the surface but cracks are starting to happen.

They don't seem to have democracy and and are ruled by a royal family. Nobody can leave I suppose unless your have connections with those in power. Their must be a underground market that brings in stuff from the outside world, such as movies, art, clothing. All the problems that come from a society that embraces isolationism and was hinted at in the first movie and ignored in the second one.

Feige let it slip to the press that the MCU’s take on the X-Men would be far different from the previous big screen iteration of the superhero team by saying Schreier is “going to make a youth-focused reboot. That may be reflected in mutant castings, and it’ll definitely be felt in the tone and perspective of the film.”

Nightcrawler- guten tag my twitch followers! We’re battling magneto right now! Hey Scott show them that optic blast again!
Whoa! That was crazy!

Cyclops-IKR?

Considering this was one of the best adaptations of the X-Men and didn't get bogged down in horrible 90s trends, I see this as a win:

While I don't mind them making them young I hope they can at least avoid modern speak to much I hate the idea of Professor X coming into a room in his chair and new outfit "My fellow mutants Check out my rizz." Logan "Love the Drip, boss man" "Scott I think the professor is just flexing." speaks Jean Grey. Professor X is then like "Everyone being a little salty I see. " and so forth.

I first encountered the X-Men by reading reissues of the 1960s ones where they were all teens, so this doesn’t bother me.

While the stars of the 2000 movie weren’t teens by any means, I do remember someone giving casting gossip on AICN at the time saying that the makers were thinking longevity, hence the relatively young stars (no Angela Basset or Gary Sinise, as fans had hoped, for example). But I bet nobody could’ve predicted that they would reprise those roles 1/4 of a century later.

X-Men started out as team of high school students led by their teacher, who was in his thirties. It didn't shy away from making the students sound like teens from the early 1960s. (filtered through a middle aged writer).
