Yeah, I think A-Rod has redeemed himself quite well in the playoffs this year.

Shout out to the Phils for their win. Hope to see 'em soon in the WS. ;)

Man, that call definitely was awful. Take a look for yourself.

That was the call that took the cake because it didn't take a good angle to see the play, it just required paying attention to what was going on. They really should expand replay, but, at the very least, Tim McClellan should be fired.

In much cooler news, the Phillies are returning to the World Series in an attempt to repeat as (to quote Chase Utley) World Fucking Champions.

I really can't take much more of this....

You know, I'm not a stupid man. I know the chances of us going to New York and winning two are slim to none.

But I love the way the Angels fought back tonight.

I know a certain team who's superstar would have been in the showers by the bottom of the seventh....

:p

Whatever else happens, that was pretty cool. Stressful, but cool. As long as we're alive, we still have a chance.

:techman:

It was an exciting game, but we could have done without that asshat who was lounging around in the rocks at Angel Stadium. He took a dip in the fountain and was bowing to the crowd like he'd just hit the fuckin' home run or something. What a moron.

The commentators said that the guy got away. Couldn't security find him and arrest him? He was in there for a couple of minutes, plenty of time for them to send some people to snatch him as soon as he bugged out. Is the Big A's security *that bad*?

MLB is going against a tradition a bit and setting the World Series umpiring crew to be made of only veteran umps. Smart move, if expected.: link.

I'm wondering if they should possibly have CC Sabathia starting again, I mean Andy Pettitte is cool (even though he always looks so sad and morose :( ) but I think CC just might have that extra edge.

Man, Kazmir throwing that pitch over the head of his first basemen really reminds me of the 2006 World Series, where Detroit Tigers pitchers did that all game long...
