Spoilers Main Title Sequence

Not sure if anyone else has said this, haven't read the entire thread... but did anyone else notice that there are no names? Is that just in the german version? I can't play the fixed-location video, I'm in the UK.

I admit, I was kinda expecting a 'trek through the stars' video, but I kinda like it for the moment...

The names will be there when the show premieres.

There will be names in the actual show. Anthony Rapp has said so. Apparently this is one of those title sequences that changes depending on who's in each episode.

I assume the names will be added.

In addition to the other elements going on here (i.e. DaVinci, Michelangelo) I'm also seeing a touch of Juan Ortiz and a hint of
some of the original promotional artwork for Star Trek in 1966.

I'm not saying I liked the new title sequence and the music, but let's just assume I'm actually wearing pants right now and not say anything further.

I liked the title sequence very much. It looks classy.

I love the score too, but I've always been partial to the TOS score. It set a standard that no other Trek show has been close to. Discovery lacks the playful middle section, which is mainly the one you hear at the beginning of each episode TOS episode, but it's similar to the complete score at both the beginning and the end. I think it's gonna grow on a lot of people as the season unfolds.
