LUTHER: The Fallen Sun

I'll give Neil Cross credit for this: he has a very vivid imagination when it comes to thinking up evil things for villains to do.

Yeah, he seems almost uncomfortably focused on this though, to the extent of making a show with an on the face of it interesting premise about the impending apocalypse that still manages to deal with nothing but psycho killers!

Watched this earlier in the week. Hubby and I really enjoyed it. It was, of course, pretty ridiculous and over the top, but it was a thrilling ride, just the same. Idris Elba is all kinds of awesome.

Utterly bonkers. Naturally I loved it. More please, be it a sequel or more tv.

I take it we all caught the Bond joke in the bar, then? Surprised nobody has mentioned it yet (apologies if someone did and I missed it).

I saw the tv series within the last month and the movie yesterday, I had the feeling the last two seasons was more for the shock with all the deaths. The movie was ok, a little bit over the top, especially with Luther and ability to stay alive
