Luther Series 2

Cat's still alive. More or less. Keeping off the sauce during the week, so I'll be sober for the last episode of Luther tonight. (Bob, actually going on the treadmill too! Get on that bike, buff boy.)

We've got to exercise during TV shows now?

Before, lad, before. Then you settle down with a big bag of crisps and a coke to watch the show.

She will if you insist on publicising the fact!

Think I'm going to have to catch the final part of Luther on iPlayer given Falling Skies starts on FX tonight.

Utterly utterly brilliant! What a blast!

Everyone watch this season. Just watch it because the ending is such a treat.

Bob, not only did I not treadmill but I had some wine. Do your worst. I can take it.

If you agree with me about that season, get on to the BBC Luther website because apparently that was the last they were going to produce. Fans are trying to change their mind.

I got you beat, didn't go on the bike last night, nor this morning, and I had a pizza and a crunchie last night.

I suppose we should all go to BBC and Email them telling them to make us more Luther.

That was fantasic, love how he took care of the Toby situation, and his solution to the Nicholas problem!

Why would the BBC can this after just two series?

This was fantastic. If Idris Elba wants to do more of these, then I think they should go for it. What were the ratings like?

I hope they do more, I really do - however, going into this I read somewhere this would be the last, and although they didnt off Luther like I thought they would (ending it with him and the girl eating Ice Cream?! Ha!) my gut tells me making a third series won't be as clean cut as getting a second made was hard enough it seems.

^The first didn't get very good press or ratings if I remember right, so the second was kinda unexpected but they only produced 2 special episodes, which were then edited in to 4 to make it a series. Series 2 seems to have gathered more interest both critically and with the audience, so I wouldn't think series 3 is as unlikely as series 2 was.
