To Mike: It was definitely worth doing. Please find a way to continue the journey.
A comic series? That's not exactly a replacement for a proper TV show. Also, Trek hasn't had the best track record when it comes to comics so I think I'm going to have to pass.![]()

IDW Publishing announced the new series arrives this November!www.startrek.com
Until this year I had never seen the Star Trek 5 poster with the theater and seat belt. I do like the movie, but what were they thinking there? They needed a movie theater seat. With a seat belt.
And is that Boims…. Finally smiling instead of looking completely terrified?
Wow these are spectacularThe article says the Season 5 poster was made by Matt Ferguson.
His work is great:

Was the lower decks first look the only Star Trek day thing they were doing? I thought maybe we might get a SNW trailer with an update of when it premieres. My TV Time app says it premieres in late July of next year but Paramount hasn't made that official. I know today was the first Sunday of Football season, but it would have been nice to get something other than the Lower Decks first look.
Maybe they'll do all the movies since it's cancelled lmaoMatt also says that "full-on parody posters" (plural) are coming too...

Yeah, especially after there was a special video announcing Star Trek day on Star Trek's official YouTube channel. Not sure why they would hype that up and then do nothing.
Most likely. The truly extravagant Star Trek Days as far as content goes was during 2020 and 2021, when because of the pandemic all conventions had to be done virtually. Now that conventions are in-person events again, they got to save something to justify people making the trip to attend them.New York Comic-Con is at the end of October, maybe we'll get something there
I figured as much it was a cross between the V and VI posters. Since if it was just based solely on V, it could use more red and orange.Matt also says that "full-on parody posters" (plural) are coming too...
