Spoilers Lower Decks General Discussion Thread

Anyone surprised we haven't gotten a date for season 4 yet? Considering how SDCC will be more limited this year, I wish we got some sort of date at least, let alone a teaser. They usually premiered in August, and it's almost August.
Its likely the second last Wednesday or last Wednesday of August. Ten weeks of episode takes us to the end of October. Season usually ends by then.

Dutch Amazon Prime has Lower Decks listed under the 'titels leaving in 30 days' list..... :( Hope that's not true. Both Supernatural and Dr Who have been there a few times.

Apparently Amazon Prime Germany is saying the show is leaving the service in the next 30 days

Just noticed yesterday that it's saying somethig about it leaving Prime in the UK too. However, it's only saying it for season 3, not 1 or 2. And it currently says 10 days.

On top of that, season 3 is showing as available for purchase, but the others aren't.

This mostly concerns Canadian viewers, as there has been some confusion recently about all the Trek shows leaving Crave and being added to the Canadian Paramount+ outlet as to whether CTV Sci Fi could continue to air the new Trek shows. Well, according to TV Passport (a site I've usually found to be reliable and accurate) the answer is, YES with the Lower Decks S4 premiere listed on their September 7 schedule.

Also, of possible relevance to everyone, they have two new Lower Decks episodes listed for September 7, which means we're getting a two episode premiere. If I were to guess, I'd say both episodes are planned to be shown at that theatrical screening thing they're doing on September 8, so both episodes are going to be made available officially to avoid anyone pirating the second episode. Just like why the SNW crossover episode was made available right away after it was screened at Comic Con.

If it's true, it's probably going over to SkyShowtime.

Probably not, we don't get season 4 of lower decks in skyshowtime, forget that skyshowtime=p+, they access the market in a normal way as any ott/TV. They are out of the of agreement between p+ and prime video or any decisions made in p+ they buy the rights directly to cbs studios.

Maybe only maybe when the agreement ends. But i think we Lost season 4 of lower decks in september at 99,9%. :S.
