Well, I do think whoever cut that short snippet of a teaser massively underestimated how big of a deal it is what you can glimpse in the background of that one shot. People have been wondering just how Mariner and Boimler would look in live action from the moment the crossover was announced. So this way of showing them feels almost accidental.

There were two videos, one with that shot, and another with various shots from other episodes, both were set to private.
It was posted on Crave's youtube channel, which is the Canadian streaming service that has Trek in.

Guessing it wasn't meant to be public yet.

Anyone surprised we haven't gotten a date for season 4 yet? Considering how SDCC will be more limited this year, I wish we got some sort of date at least, let alone a teaser. They usually premiered in August, and it's almost August.

Mariner looks spot on. Boimler in RL also is good, the animation gives him a...roundness? That the actor of course can't emulate, but it works. Neato all around.
