Spoilers Lower Decks General Discussion Thread

My season 3 Blu-ray has arrived. It has normal pressed discs (not burned), and the menus are interactive, but it was highly likely prepared for the MOD market in the US, so the disc ISOs would need to be reauthored if it is was to be released in other markets. The only subtitles are English for hard of hearing.

Luckily there are ample special features, including the usual "Lower Decktionary" and commentaries on approx half the episodes.

MOD releases rarely go on sale or have price drops beyond sites having occasional 10-15% off everything in stock, so if you're interested, I'd just buy it now instead of waiting. That makes it more likely season 4 will get a Blu-ray release.

I bought mine from Bull Moose for $19.97, an independent retailer in Maine / New Hampshire that doesn't charge sales tax.

EDIT: each episode also has the Paramount+ yellow/red/blue ship at warp "STAR TREK" franchise ID.

Is it multi-region? Been tempted to order now, rather than wait for it to hit the U.K., but have yet to see anything about whether it would play on my bluray player…

I have a Region B Blu-ray player from Spain, and both discs loaded without a problem.

This is why I don't judge things before I watch them.

I think his hair is purple, just darker than in animation.
I'm personally not seeing it in that short snippet, but yeah, you could very well be right. :)

Super excited for this crossover. Will be interesting to see how they are able to spin it into an entire episode. I think I'm most curious to see how Tawny Newsome's frenetic Mariner will translate into live action. This should be fun!
