And for the record… any time Trek wants to do a crossover with Futurama, I’ll be there.

Too adult.Rick and Morty would be my first choice
Unbeep the swears and crank up the incest levels and it's evens. Rick's absolute nihilism would be an interesting clash with Starfleet.Too adult.

I’m trying to be optimistic about this, but Lower Decks is my least favorite Trek by a Tango gallop. SNW is off to such an excellent start, the spectre of this episode just has me gnawing off my fingertips.
Why, they might do an episode that you don't like?
I’m the opposite. I think Lower Decks is easily the best of the new Trek and I’m not a fan of those characters coming over to SNW. Lower Decks does a lot of work trying to make their show fit within the Trek universe and so having their characters come to a show who are more lenient into that stuff feels like a disservice to Lower Decks.I’m trying to be optimistic about this, but Lower Decks is my least favorite Trek by a Tango gallop. I don't blame her. She's a fan. They’re less animated you mean?
She also mentioned at Vegas that she got into trouble for breaking multiple things on the bridge. Apparently she just wanted to touch everything.
Tawny Newsome mentioned in an interview that when their characters are in live action they're more subdued, less hyper active than on LDS.
Even if this is an "unwatchable cringe-fest" as you put it, so what? There's nine other episodes, and a ninety percent hit rate for a season of any show is very damned impressive.Well, yeah- admittedly, the stakes aren’t super high. We only get 10 stories a year, though, so I really don’t want one to be an unwatchable cringe-fest.

Adjustments will be made. It won't be a straight up LD style episode. And I can understand that, too. Really, my concern isn’t with my perception of LD’s quality but just the vast tonal chasm between the shows. To me, it feels akin to an episode of Mad Men crossing over with Superstore. Square apples and round oranges, you know?
