Little things in Trek that just bug you...

The self-righteous, holier-than-thou bollocks

Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't. I enjoyed Picard's speeches for example but disliked how bigoted they could be towards the Ferengi. In fact one my favorite scenes in Trek is when Quark defends his people to Sisko in "The Jem'Haddar" by pointing out some terrible things in human history.

Picard's pontificating was always worth listening to. Thankfully DS9 did come along and save the horrendous treatment of the Ferengi in TNG.

Every time an alien with zero experience with Starfleet technology manages to outwit trained bridge officers and lock them out of key systems.

The old 'there's something here you should see'.

Geordi LaForge.

Whenever Riker would hitch his leg up on the console. Heaven forbid data turned the wrong way and got some riker balls in his face.

Beverley Crusher

Wesley Crusher

Every time Trip says Cap'n. The trip tucker decon scenes kinda made up for it though.

Ocampa Screams

The way Janeway says Pecan Pie in that episode with the horny french alien and the pleasure planet with 'get home' technology

How anyone can use any kind of alien technology without even studying it.

Extra's that don't say anything even if a main character says something to them. Stop pinching pennies and pay the gal or dude to at least say "Yes Sir."
