That Janeway has a better ready room than Picard.
Not enough Vic Fontaine.
Too much Vic Fontaine
Colonies with mega small populations, full of humans
Chakotay sits on Janeway's left and it's always annoyed the shit out of me.
Lol yeah a whole planet, Population 15
Not much genetic diversity going on there. In 3 generations the colony will be dead
How every primitive society, every advanced rubberheaded alien in the 24th Century uses the shite out of LCARS ... and LCARS, alone!
Using the main deflector dish to solve most problems.
That time Sisko was wearing his comm badge in the wrong area. Mostly in the episode "The Rapture" but I think it happens once in the following episode as well.
Caves and more Caves. I have seen my fill of Trek caves.
The human blight on the cosmos.
The self-righteous, holier-than-thou bollocks
Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't. I enjoyed Picard's speeches for example but disliked how bigoted they could be towards the Ferengi. In fact one my favorite scenes in Trek is when Quark defends his people to Sisko in "The Jem'Haddar" by pointing out some terrible things in human history.
Picard's pontificating was always worth listening to. Thankfully DS9 did come along and save the horrendous treatment of the Ferengi in TNG.
Every time an alien with zero experience with Starfleet technology manages to outwit trained bridge officers and lock them out of key systems.
The old 'there's something here you should see'.
Whenever Riker would hitch his leg up on the console. Heaven forbid data turned the wrong way and got some riker balls in his face.
Every time Trip says Cap'n. The trip tucker decon scenes kinda made up for it though.
The way Janeway says Pecan Pie in that episode with the horny french alien and the pleasure planet with 'get home' technology
How anyone can use any kind of alien technology without even studying it.
Extra's that don't say anything even if a main character says something to them. Stop pinching pennies and pay the gal or dude to at least say "Yes Sir."
Harry Kim died in season 1. Like, not the usual kind where he gets better. He died and he stayed dead and we're watching a different Harry the whole time.
Type 1 phasers. Shooting stuff with a tiny remote control looks so silly...
Also, TNG Hand Phasers. Am I supposed to take the Federation seriously when they go around pointing barcode readers at people ?
Lack of seatbelts.
Starfleet people magically know how to operate alien computers even when none of the buttons have labels!
Separate names with a comma.
