List Only! Last Star Trek Episode You Watched

TNG “Cause and Effect”. Definitely one of my favourite episodes of the series. I’d been finding season 5 a bit of a soapy and unambitious slog, but this is a high concept sci-fi story with guts and ambition, and the most shocking Star Trek teaser I think I’d ever seen. (Until Ichbeb’s eyeball gouging perhaps, but that was shocking bad). Jonathan Frakes’ directing is superb and helps keep the episode pacey and visually interesting while minimising the repetitiveness.

Hi All! New member, longtime Trekkie.

This past weekend I watched TOS: "What Are Little Girls Made Of?" and "The Enterprise Incident." Both are fantastic episodes - I put on "TEI" because I was wearing my t-shirt w/ the Juan Ortiz poster on it:

DS9: "A Man Alone"

This is a rough episode! Mostly interesting now for how unformed the world is. Detached Jadzia, committed to celibacy and chilly reserve (Trills having bodies cold to the touch is such a freaky idea). Odo having DNA. Rom, sharp scheming businessman dedicated to the Ferengi ways. Morn as part of an angry rioting mob. And so on.

Aron Eisenberg's name is even misspelled during the opening credits!

Edit:
TAS: "The Survivor"
TAS is really a great lockdown show.

I'm half-way finished with the third season of ENT. I've done everything else I wanted to do for today. So now let's see how much I can get through this evening and into tonight.

TOS “What Are Little Girls Made Of?” Good ep, although the plot feels a little weak perhaps. The moment where Kirk is standing ready to hit Lurch—I mean Ruk—over the head with an astonishingly phallic rock is eye-opening to say the least.

TNG “The First Duty”. Wesley, how the mighty have fallen! Robert Duncan McNeil impresses, it’s easy to see why they wanted him for Voyager. I wish it had been the same character.

- oh my gods, it's real?! I always thought it was a photoshop job! (If I have seen this episode it was when I was very young)

With brief access to CBS All Access I watched All the Short Treks episodes on Monday and the first four episodes of Star Trek Discovery on Tuesday.

Damn, I clearly need to give this one a rewatch, I thought this was the only slash bait from that episode...

Meanwhile, I watched the first 45 minutes of Wrath Of Khan. Not as good as I remembered, somehow! I'll finish it tonight hopefully.

Oh it’s very much real. I honestly don’t know what the designers were thinking and how everyone on the set wasn’t rolling with laughter. Ironically one of the network censors was actually on the set, but he evidently spent all his time ensuring that Andrea’s dress wasn’t “indecent”!

Oh yeah, that was another thing. I loved how they used makeup to de-emphasise male nipples, yet still no one thought twice bout the rock dildo :guffaw:

DS9 "Heart of Stone" - I watched this for the Nog B-story only (it was "saved" during the most recent Most Disliked... game which prompted me to watch it again) and wasn't disappointed. Sisko and Nog make for very entertaining viewing, and eternal doofus Rom shows just how sweet and caring he really is at the end of this episode. Plus, the first mention of the intriguing - and ever more biologically complicated - Vilix'Pran (who I attempted to visualise in the Fan Art Forum last year - needs more work).

When I started posting the least/most disliked games 9 years ago, it was for this exact reason, so I'm glad to hear it.
