List Only! Last Star Trek Episode You Watched

"The Mark of Gideon" - TOS season 3....about to watch "The Lights of Zetar."

I was reading the teaser on Memory Alpha, only to discover why the website is called "Memory Alpha," since this is the first time (I think) they mention the Federation library. (First time viewer of everything).

The episode itself was pretty dreadful, but that one small piece lives on as the name of a popular website.

"The Changeling" TOS
A very bad day to be a red shirt.
And another case of an energy weapon being fired at the Enterprise that it can't outrun.
Here's a unique thought: Move out of the damned way!

DS9: "The Forsaken"

Sometimes, I have to resort to watching Lwaxana Troi episodes on STAR TREK, for variety's sake. Locking Odo alone, together, with her was forced and it was way too obvious what they were getting at, but his great discomfort around the ambassador was something I couldn't help being entertained by. She means well, her heart is in the right place, but she's a pain in the ass with her assorted and plentiful personality peccadillos. It's not a brilliant episode, but I did find myself enjoying Odo's predicament, for the most part.

TNG "The Naked Now" on BBCA
One word: Stupid.
Why would anyone design a starship bridge with a giant escape hatch along one wall? Again?
It was a dumb idea for STIV and even worse for this episode.

"Battle Lines" DS9
It's better than I remember. This time I pretty much ignored Opaka and the warring prisoners and just watched Kira.

Voyager: One Small Step
Nice change of pace with this one.

TOS: Balance of Terror
Still one of my favourite Original Series episodes. Good introduction to the Romulans.

TAS - The Counter Clock Incident....

I didn't know how I would feel about "cartoon" Star Trek, but I rather enjoyed the creative license it gave them with some of the more alien creatures they could bring to life. The themes and writing were strong enough to take that "suspension of disbelief" into the animated realm, and I've been impressed.

T0S: "The Cage"

It's kind of funny, too, how Shatner's "Get a Life" comments were greeted with such ire and yet, that's exactly the theme, here. But that message is entertainingly conveyed by Gene Roddenberry's excellent script. I have the greatest admiration for Gene: WW2 pilot, policeman, writer, producer ... and visionary. He was a complicated mosaic ... an original, right up there with Walt Disney. The Cage has Gene's style all up in it ...
