Plato's Stepchildren (TOS Blu-Ray). Other than the interracial kiss (I know whether it was the first on TV or not is debatable), this is a bad episode. I feel embarrassed for the actors every time I watch it.
"Fair Haven": Stinks.
"Blink Of An Eye": Simplistic and strained but watchable...
"Virtuoso": I am sorry "genius" but "1 + 1" is not an equation!!! Saved from mediocrity by Picardo's outstanding performance.
"Memorial": Next time they'll cross paths with a machine that maims you as if you were on a field of battle and Janeway will have it preserved for... well because she's BATSHIT CRAZY!!! That's why.
"Tsunkatse": Abducting people to have them fight to death is bad... definitely.
"Collective": It's really hard to sympathize with the little shithead...
"Spirit Folk": Stinks, part two.
"Ashes To Ashes": I didn't know star fleet people were such prejudiced asses. What? She says a few words in an alien language and they all look at her as if she just farted!!! WTF?
"Child's Play": After rescuing Itched I would have dropped a bomb or two on these filicidal assholes!!!
"Good Shepherd": Boring. I hate moralistic tales. Plus a good shepherd doesn't endanger the whole herd for a stray sheep that's just bullshit. I've seen a documentary where they threw one to the piranhas so that the rest could cross the river safely. Actually, it was bovines. Well, you get the point, don't you?
"Live Fast and Prosper": Funny, but completely bogus. Seriously, reputation? Aren't they supposed to fly toward the Alpha Quadrant as fast as they can? What do they need a reputation for?

How about replacing this makeshift journal with a profile field allowing the user to choose an episode title? Automated analysis software could even mine that for statistics of TrekBBS users and their rewatch-preferences.

"Fury": Kes is angry... I don't know why. In "Flashback", Tuvok said that he was 29, 80 years before, that would make him 111 in Fury's present but Janeway says that he'll hit the three digits soon. The amount of bull we get from this show is simply unbelievable!!!

Star Trek The Motion Picture - streaming:
I'm not going to bring up the plot, in favor of the differences noted while streaming. I disliked how it's full frame (16:9) instead of letterboxed as some effects shows have been chopped. Such as the human looking out of the window as travel pod 5 arrives at the docking bay at the neck of the ship. And for this movie, where the actual ship is embraced as a character, meaning every little scene is going to count. The effects are truly sumptuous and made with care; so much detail to represent scale, even the people in the spacesuits hovering by... It's jaw-droppingly great.
It is easier to see now than in 1979 how everything was composited together and various tricks they used, including various lenses where chromatic abrasion, vignetting, and relative softness became apparent, since I had done photography in the past so for me it all sticks out... but at worst it's a very minor nitpick since the whole of the experience, leisurely paced, feels authentic, and I'm still forgetting I'm seeing a softer shot of the ship in one angle but a high detailed crisp crispy version in the next. Very cleverly done, everything they did and it's all genuinely impressive. In keeping in the mindset of no new Trek for 10 years, this movie does have its epic moments. Even with today's CGI (which is great since one isn't making models that get thrown into a dumpster), I still concede there is still something about multi-layered composited modelwork that just feels tangible. Especially for this film. And, of course, the turbolift scenes had the "you are here" light, which is a genuine hoot. The movie may have been expensive and encumbered with delays, but nothing even begins to look like it and that alone would have kept more audiences of the time interested.
Never mind the interiors, especially Engineering. Both the visuals and background audio of people talking intercooler mixes and stuff - very detailed stuff that adds to the authenticity.
But it's definitely in HD, which make those hideous pajamas even more disappointing to those who'd rather use their imaginations...
But the number of stilted/juttery frames due to bandwidth lag were surprisingly few. I already know Blu-Ray is higher quality (less compression, higher bandwidth), but 1080p streaming streaming is genuinely not bad.
If only they had filmed the VGER craft. They did sell a sense of scale with the cloud interior, but we needed to see the craft. That would have been massive. Moreso than the amount of intricate detail put into the Enterprise 12' model, the space dock prop, etc, etc...

Re-watching more Voyager for Picard. Here's a list of episodes I watched during my first pass.

I'm on "Survival Instinct" right now. I paused it for a moment. I find it a amusing that Ron Moore's episode of Voyager has the ship docked at a space station.

So if Tuvok is 111 Earth or Vulcan years old in "Fury", his age would be written as "111" in base ten Arab numerals.
Maybe Janeway said Tuvok was 100 now and would soon be 111 and have all three digits of his age the same.
Maybe Starfleet and/or Vulcans use a base 11 number system. Nunbers higher than 11 would have two digits up to 120, and 121 woudl be the first three digit numbers. Some sources claime that a base 12 number system is a very logical one to use. In a base 12 system numbers would have two digits up to 143 would be two digits and 144 would be three digits.
Of course Earth and Vulcan years might have different lengths, and Earth years could be used in one episode and Vulcan years could be used in another.
Or if years of the same length are used, a base ten number system could be sued in one episode and a base 12, for example, number system could be used in the other episode.
Thus there are several possible explanations of Tuvok's age.
None of it makes the least bit of sense in the context of Star Trek. In all episodes (of all series) , there hasn't even been a hint of people using anything other than base 10 numbering or different lengths of years. Nice try though.
