One of those little things that could have been easily fixed in TOS-R, but for some reason wasn't. Someone should start a thread, there are probably a few dozen missed opportunities like this at minimum, like adding in the missing tractor-beam sound in The Doomsday Machine.TOS "Way to Eden" on H&I

The shot of Kirk in front of the shuttlecraft near the end that was flopped looks jarring.

Watching the Barclay episodes, I always half expected him to break into Howling Mad Murdock.I watched that recently too. The writers always (even through to his appearances in Voyager) seemed to like Dwight Schultz a lot more than I ever did, and this episode was the most irritating example of this.
The episode just disappointed me because for the 40 mins of set up to get to these potentially interesting new race of floating translucent heads, we got a few minutes of one talking to the crew on the bridge and then a Captain's Log. I for one was more interested in these people than Barclay becoming not-awkward.
