Great performances by James Gregory and Morgan Woodward.

All of the Season One attention to detail is evident, for example being able to see the ceiling in sickbay during the mind meld scenes, and the corridors on Enterprise actually having people in them, as you would expect.

Obviously Spock never apprenticed as an electrician, he makes the huge newbie mistake of throwing a disconnect that someone else had turned off for a reason, without checking first, and Adams' mind gets fried as a result of his carelessness.
