List Only! Last Star Trek Episode You Watched

The Menagerie, parts I and II, streamed on Netflix.

A wonderful repurposing of the original pilot into TOS's only two-part episode.

This is thirteen years ago..

TOS-r: Errand of Mercy

When I first bought a vcr for taping TOS in the early 80s, I usually paused during commercials, but occasionally they would slip through. Readers in the Kansas City area might remember those weirdass Boots Williams Ford commercials. And Ed Muscare, at Channel 41 as their horror movie host The Creeper, and a children's show host musically playing what he called the cat-o-phone. Muscare was later arrested on sex offender charges. There's a Wiki article on him, but you might have to hunt for it.

I almost always edited out commercials when recording episodes of the different Trek series. Occasionally one might slip through or I'd catch the first second of an ad, but I was a ninja with those old Pause buttons. By the time Enterprise was on the air a decade ago I had it nailed down like a pro and could get rid of anything that wasn't opening or closing credits and story content. That's how I first noticed that ENT was three minutes shorter than the average TNG episode of a decade before (43 minutes, 30 seconds give or take versus the old TNG running time of about 46-1/2 minutes without commercials).

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock

I never get tired of this one. I do wonder how much more fondly it would've been remembered if the Genesis scenes had been shot on location instead of on a sound stage?
