LEGO Enterprise rumors

I can just imagine in my mind, in SirPatStew’s voice (from the opening monologue):

“…To Boldy Go, Where No One Has Gone Before.”

LOL

You can do the shuttle within a hour. Has more stickers than the Enterprise which is annoying. I've never liked stickers.

The stickers really stress me as I want things just right. And realigning them messes them up. And one I got cat hairs on, that got complicated.

But as time went on I got a bit better with them.

It's not but Lego tends to see higher markup because Lego.

what is this? I can't see it.

Okay, guys. It's time. I'm sitting down with it... The shuttlepod!

Seriously, why is this cooler than the ship itself? Anyway, I'm building it while watching a shuttlepod-centered episode, "Time Squared."
I'm not sure I'd say it's cooler... but I sort of get what you mean. I think for me there's something impressive about seeing a limited amount of pieces look like Star Trek and be movable.

The Enterprise D feels more like engineering. The shuttle feels more magical somehow.

I think it's as simple as it being minifig scale and tapping into the kid part of the brain that remembers playing with Lego cars and fire engines, and a perfectly-scaled shuttlecraft fits into that too.

They did an amazing job with the angles and it's such a shame this isn't a regular set that anyone can buy. I'd love them to make the Galileo, Type 6 and even the Runabout or Delta Flyer - BlueBrixx did these really nicely.

Love this, and love how many main theme songs there are, playing in my head!!!

Wonder how long it will be before Lego figures out how to incorporate various sounds and music into their models...

...shutting up, now...

Some part of me is very interested in seeing an Excelsior. I think the shapes, curves, angles and such would translate very well, far better than the Galaxy does in this design.

Thanks for resharing. Definitely worth seeing!

What is Worf carrying? A bat'leth was a missed opportunity but I'm not sure what it is, and he's missing text in the manual.
It's a phaser printed on a little slope element. It doesn't quite work! But anything else would have needed a bespoke piece.

A phaser? I would never have gotten that. I thought it was a scanner. I think that was one was a mis-fire... no pun intended.

I'd have preferred to see a bat'leth. I don't think a trombone was really necessary, it wasn't seen that often.

I love the trombone! It's very iconic for Riker and it's a cool brick-built accessory.

Maybe I'll give Worf a sword from my Lego castle!

The replacement sticker apparently corrects one mistake, but introduces another :D
(boldy is now boldly, but the TNG Starfleet logo is now TOS)

It's also missing the mounting bolts. I really don't feel the mistake in the initial sticker sheet is worth the effort to replace it.

This might sound a stupid question as I have now built my set but where is the dedication plaque? I remember doing the sticker but can't work out where it is.
