Last movie you saw?

Had a towing rep tell us he answered a lockout call for a car. The kids didn’t realize their key also unlocked the car doors! Why I loved my manual transmission. Didn’t have to worry about it being stolen.

I sought out my car (not my specific model, but one of my requirements was for it to be a 5-speed--FUN!) and I've come to realize that it's also a kind of security device to some of the population. :D

My mom drove my car home from the hospital when I drove myself there last November and she kept going on about how fun it was and how she'd forgotten how empowering a standard transmission could be! :D

It's not uncommon for me to take my little Spark to 60-65mph in 3rd gear. That extra boost of acceleration at high RPMs is sooooo invigorating. :)

Just came back from Captain Marvel. Marvel movie for sure and not a bad one. The movie was great as far as "origin" movies go. Not the best Marvel movie but hardly the worst either.

Yesterday evening I re-watched good old Above The Law from 1988, the first film featuring martial arts actor Steven Seagal in a leading role. I haven't seen the movie surely for almost ten years or so, but back then I was a huge fan of Seagal's early films. And it still works. "Above The Law" doesn't really have an interesting or deep story line, it's mainly, like most Seagal movies, about throwing the main character from one martial arts fight into another. But the movie is entertaining and has great action, the fighting scenes were already impressive back then. It's probably not the best Steven Seagal movie, but an enjoyable one... and for sure much better than most of the stuff he took part in since the 2000's ^^

Red Sonja. Man, that was tough to sit through, but at least I've now seen all REH movie adaptations (of which this is easily the worst), so now I've got this over with and never have to watch that again.
What a waste of Ennio Morricone, too.

Went to see Us on the "BigD" screen at AMC Tyler with my friend Cody Saturday night. Good movie, enjoyed it quite a bit.

^

I liked that one quite a bit.

Watched The Meg and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri on Hulu last night. The Meg was insanely stupid, but Three Billboards was actually pretty good.

I just come from watching Mission Impossible: Fallout. It's awesome and now I've seen all movies of that franchise. They are great, especially that last one.
