My comment was how the others in my film history class in film school were absolutely ripping on an early film called The Automatic Moving Company which was, as the title suggests, a stop-motion picture (one of the first, if not THE first) featuring furniture moving from one location, into a moving truck, and to another.
They were treating it as if it had been released in the late-90s when I was film school. Yeah, if it had been released yesterday, of course, it looks rough and not up to par with what we have today, but in its time, it was innovative and original and quite spectacular to the audience of the day.
That's all I was saying.
