Kate Mulgrew would be interested in a comeback

I would like to see her come back. Now that Orange is ending next year, that does opening up a possibility of Janeway returning maybe in the Picard series.

Would she still be a desk-bound admiral?

Kor
Maybe she can pull an Admiral Kirk and get back her command. It would be nice to see her and everybody else make guest appearance on the Picard Show.

Yeah... it could be good see her, back again.
Starfleet Academy could open an almost infinity chances to see old faces again.
I just hope they can make it so.

I'd love to see her in Trek again. She's an admiral now, could hang out in the Alpha quadrant or even go back to the Delta to set up a base of some sort. Would love the latter.

When I heard Orange was ending I hoped Kate might be open to reprising Admiral Janeway. It would be amazing to have her back in the fold.

Yeah, it would be good to have back the older characters. Cameos for some of them, short arcs for some, long arcs for the remaining.

I could definitely see her doing a cameo appearance in the new Picard series. From what we saw in that brief scene in Nemesis, it seemed they got along quite well. Maybe it's Admiral Janeway who visits retired Picard in his vineyard and convinces him to get back in the saddle one last time.

I wouldn't mind but she has to wait her turn. Sisko gets to go first. His show was created before her show. Speaking of taking turns shouldn't Shatner get a turn as well and before Sisko or Janeway? Not only does he have senority but you would like to see it happen because at his age you don't know how many more years you have to give him that chance. Time for Kirk to come back to life via the Borg like in his books.

If he were to return, wouldn't it be better on Discovery?

Reanimating Kirk would only serve to reinforce the fantasy that "No one really dies."
