Just what is so bad about 'These Are The Voyages'..?

Just what is so bad about 'These Are The Voyages'..?

Could have been set aboard the Titan for a start, so that age and shape of Riker and Troi match the timeframe.

And the story could have been "Titan finds wreckage and recovers the NX-01s final mission logs and replays them in the holodeck." The whole "Deanna, I have a problem." - "Watch Enterprise on the holodeck, don't talk to me." stuff was pretty idiotic.

I was browsing around on the board and came across this thread. I haven't read it all the way through, and this may have been mentioned before, but my biggest gripe about TATV is that there was no mention of the Romulan Wars. AFAIK, the Romulan Wars ended around 2160. If TATV took place in 2161, Earth and Starfleet should be picking up the pieces in the aftermath of that brutal conflict. Yet there was not even a reference of any kind to the war at all. That bothered me even more than the general crappiness of the episode as a whole. I wasn't a huge fan of Enterprise, but I did enjoy most of it. But I certainly didn't feel that TATV was a fitting end to that series. Especially since season 4 was really good. Just my 2 quatloos.

Tatv was a big disappoinment to the Enterprise cast and fans in general. The cast have said they've never seen it would be too upsetting for them to watch it. They've said that Demons/Terra Prime was their series finale as far they're concerned. The actors have mentioned this more than once at conventions when asked what they felt about Tatv.
