All of which is irrelevant to the question of "When?"Keep in mind, take it all with a pinch of salt. It's pretty much a reboot except not quite. Modern looks and sensibilities which clash quite a bit with the 6 or 10 years later (depending which episode of SNW you're watching) TOS.
Here's a quick timeline for you:
First Contact between Earth and Vulcan: 5 April 2063
Enterprise Season One: April 2151 to February 2152
Enterprise Season Two: February 2152 to April 2153
Enterprise Season Three: May 2153 to February 2154
Enterprise Season Four: February 2154 to January 2370
FTFY.
It's very relavent. "10 years but they're kinda doing their own thing" versus "10 years and every detail will line up absolutely"All of which is irrelevant to the question of "When?"

Sure? It's hand in hand, IMHO. Otherwise you might go in expecting the end of one to perfectly sync with the start of the other. Also irrelevant.
Nah. If the story says this happened and then this happened. That’s all you need.Sure? It's hand in hand, IMHO. Otherwise you might go in expecting the end of one to perfectly sync with the start of the other.
It's like X-Men: Days of Future Past. They still cross the old with the new and ignore the differences in characterisation and changes in backstory.
What about TAS and DIS S3 and S4?*begins piano solo*
