I won’t be heartbroken (it’s TV) but I will be disappointed if it happens. At least I’ll have your support to lean on. Thank goodness for thatOh no. What a shame. So many of us will be heart broken if that happens.
There have been rumors that the new management will completely ignore Kurtzman's era. I'd do the same if I were in their position. The Abrams/Kurtzman era has done more damage to the brand than good.

which brings me to say the star trek reboot is then gonna be on a alternate reality
No, none of this means any of that.which brings me to say the star trek reboot is then gonna be on a alternate reality
and which also brings me to say that the kurtzman era was on a alternate reality just like how the star trek abrams movies era was
which is also means that there is a star trek multiverse
Maybe Scarlett Johansson as well.
If they do, they're just as likely to ignore the Berman era and even TOS as well. There have been rumors that the new management will completely ignore Kurtzman's era.
Ron Moore has himself debunked that claim.Nick Locarno became Tom Paris because TPTB that didn't want to pay royalties to Ron Moore and Naren Shankar during VGR's run.

The best thing they could do would be to get Ryan Gosling to star in the next one.
Maybe Scarlett Johansson as well.

I'm not familiar with either of those sources. Rumors have appeared in various places; I believe I read these in the comments section of a Trek Movie article.“JDA Talks Trek” and “Tachyon Pulse” are not reliable sources.
The Tachyon Pulse guy doesn't bother me that much but I can't stand that JDA Talks guy. He is a bigot.“JDA Talks Trek” and “Tachyon Pulse” are not reliable sources.
People that disagree with you = "lunatic fringe."Star Trek is a commercial property. CBS/Paramount is making money on showing the Kurtzman shows, on selling blu rays, on licencing agreements for tie-in products. How much more of that money will come in if CBS/Paramount makes fandom's lunatic fringe happy by saying none of that stuff counts, forget about it?
There are plenty of ways to start afresh without wiping out any continuity. For example, set a new series in the 26th century on a ship exploring the Magellanic Clouds. New characters, new settings, new species. It's trivially easy to come up with concepts that don't require any references to any Kurtzman shows -- or any other Trek shows -- without overwriting them.
I mean, the lunatic fringe likes to go on about how much the people making Star Trek hate Star Trek and Star Trek fans. Seems to me that telling all of us, not just the haters, that over a decade of Star Trek doesn't count is what a CBS/Paramount that has contempt for Star Trek and its fans would do.
Because it isn't what fans would do. Fans are not production teams and production teams are not fans in terms of making decisions. It's not out of malice but business and trying to tell stories that are entertaining first and foremost.mean, the lunatic fringe likes to go on about how much the people making Star Trek hate Star Trek and Star Trek fans. Apparently, reading comprehension disagrees with you. Try rereading what he actually wrote instead of projecting your preconceptions.People that disagree with you = "lunatic fringe."
Got it. You're unwilling and/or incapable of having legitimate and open-minded dialogue.
It’s a leap beyond rational thought. The assumption that Paramount has Kurtzman must have contempt for Star Trek because they don't placate me is a leap too far for me as a fan.
