Jodie Whittaker is the 13th Doctor

Billie Piper believes Rose would still love The Doctor as a woman. She also thinks the next Doctor will be a cat.

“I think it’ll bring something totally different,” she said. “And I think that in whatever capacity, if they’re going to save the world and travel through time, they’re gonna have to have a strong allegiance. I think this is just the beginning of something really exciting.

“And it’s not going to be traditional, it’s going to be more modern, and progressive, but it’ll always have the same – it’ll always be about needing each other, regardless of whether the Doctor is a girl, or a guy, or a cat. That’s next. The next Doctor is a cat.

“So, you know, I think it’s always going to be a beautiful, unique [thing] in whatever shape or size. I’m desperate to read those scripts – oh my god.”

Any chance they will do anything really crazy like make the Doctor a American?:)

Dr Who has always been a cat free show, let's keep it that way!

That's pretty neat and i can see most of them in the role, especially Jeff Goldblum and Christopher Walken... but Daniel Glover?

"A black Doctor!!??" - With all apologies to Mel Brooks.. :D

Seriously though, he would be an awesome choice

So we had an episode, the Doctor's wife.. what's next...

The Doctor's Husband, or the Doctor's Cat?? My bet is on the Doctor's cat, with the amount of absurdity going on in the Whoniverse lately, Why NOT?!!!

We had Wolsey in the Tardis for years. He started out as a manifestation of the TARDIS. Nice cat.

1. Lately?
2. What's absurd?

rebooting the universe with a Prison box, in a flaming TARDIS.. Say what you will about classic Who, but find me a more absurd act in the classic series thru Russell Davies, and I'll agree to watch 1 episode of Jodie " The Feminist- don't be afraid of my gender" Whittaker... and the Doctress Who Show..

1. I don't doubt for a second that you will watch the first episode regardless of what happens here. You'll want something to complain about.
2. Maybe you should take your joke of Whittaker's name to heart. You do sound very much afraid of her gender.
3. The Three Doctors... using a recorder to end Omega.
4. The Web Planet... all of it.
5. Paradise Towers. All of it.
6. Peri's breasts as an attempt to get more viewers.

7. The Horns of Nimon (and I'm one of the few people who actually enjoys it).
8. Planet of Giants (Doctor Who meets Honey, I Shrunk the Kids when it was suppose to be an educational tool).
9. The giant stone killers in The Stones of Blood.
10. The reason and purpose of The Master's disguise in Time-Flight.
11. The list could go and on, but we all know it won't convince you.
