I finished "Divinity" last night and thought overall the book was good. I am looking forward to "Divinity Vs Imperium" and "Divinity II" later on in the year. Very much enjoying what Valiant is doing right now.
Speaking of non-Marvel/DC is anyone else reading the second Lady Mechanika series? The Tablet of Destinies? So far it's two issues have come out on time and Benitez says it's going to. I'm enjoying it so far as the series is as much Steampunk as it is Indiana Jones.
Lastly, the continuation of this book and the new order is baffling. These two issues comprise Book 1, which is all that will be released in 2015. Book 2 will be released in 2016 with another two or three issues, which will be the sum total of that story arc. We’ve barely spent any time with the characters (who’s a character aside from Red One and debatably Lew?). It seems like it will be really difficult to sustain interest in the series, but maybe other people have adored the book. Regardless, this makes for a weird and off-putting cliffhanger.
I've got a couple of quick Marvel questions:
1) I'm almost to the AvX tie-ins on Wolverine & The X-Men, can I read just those issues without any of the other AvX stuff, or should I wait until I reach AvX in the other Marvel series I'm reading and just all of it at once. I'm pretty far behind on the other series, I'm just starting the first New Avengers series, so it will probably be a long time before I read AvX on other series.
2) I'm up to Kraven's First Hunt on Amazing Spider-Man, and I was wondering if it ties inot Kraven's Last Hunt? They have a KLH collection on Comixology, should I read that before First Hunt?
I'll keep that in mind for when I read the main miniseries.I just stuck with "Wolverine and the X-Men" while reading "Avengers Vs X-Men". I highly recommend Gillen's "Consequences" which serves as the epilogue and is a conversation between Scott and Logan and there's stuff with Sinister in there which was never really resolved or just ignored by Bendis when he started his run.
I plan on reading First Hunt no matter what since I'm going through ASM in order from Brand New Day forward. I was just wondering if I should throw Last Hunt in there first."Kraven's First Hunt" I believe was unconnected to Grim Hunt and Kraven's Last Hunt, it was a remake of previous issues that introduced Kraven's daughter Ana and meant to mirror "Last Hunt". It ties into "Grim Hunt" really only because it introduces Ana but you can pretty much skip it.
I enjoyed "Red One" so much that I don't mind the break as I mentioned previously. It's annoying but acceptable for me.
Thanks. If Last Hunt is that highly regarded then it sounds I'll definitely want to read i.I've got a couple of quick Marvel questions:

Yes, yes and yes again. Kraven's Last Hunt is one of, if not THE best Spider-Man story ever told.
