Jayru (JSnaith's) 3D Trek

Seasons Greetings to you all.

Things are beginning to stabilise on the home front, dad-in-law is in hospital still, and likely will be for another month. Mum-in-law is being well looked after. But as is tradition for me this time of year, I have a nasty chest infection so am just about functional.

Whatever your plans, however you celebrate, have a nice couple of days.

Sorry to hear about your parents-in-law. And about your self ofcourse! Take good care of yourself!

To make things worse, the chest infection was upgraded to Covid today. I have done everything I can to avoid Covid - isolated, had all the jabs and boosters, played it safe. Caught it from mum-in-law who must have picked it up in hospital.

This is uncharted waters for me, as I am immune-compromised. To late for anti-viral meds, can only treat what I have. Hopefully this will not end up in a hospital stay, but I have been advised it will head in that direction if things don't improve.

*sigh*

More as and when folks. Stay safe.

Hi all, just wanted to touch base.

COVID was not fun. Collapsed lung, coughing up blood... yuck. Never again. You can keep COVID. Should point out that I have had all the vaccinations so I was lucky it was so "mild," or it would have ended me. Good recommendation - have the jabs, stop the spread! Not how we wanted to spend Xmas and New Year, but hohum.

Will be getting back into thing at some point, but am going to take my time to recover. I have the post COVID cough - which after the lung and blood has made life interesting. Got some follow ups on that.

Any way, thank you all - more soon!

Woah that sounds nasty! I'm really sorry that has happened to you. As you say, take your time recovering and I hope things continue to improve from here.

Just be good to you, homie. This thread will be around and ready for you to update. Health is more important.

Thank you all.

I've had some interesting news which is going to shape what I do in the future. At the moment, I'm going to be putting 3D stuff on hold. I need to investigate some things, namely the best way to make my work available to everyone. It's something I need to think on.

As for the rest... Time will tell as it always does. In the mean time, I will keep you up to date and let you know when things go public.

More later :-)
