The on screen Ambassador Class. I love that Probert's original design has been realised as a 3d model (and can even be played in Star Trek Online), but the actual on screen model has a troubled history and is deserving of some thinking and love.
Thank you, I am... still refining the nacelles. I will get them right....I think I'm in the minority in that I have no affection for the original design, but have always liked the Ambassador as it appeared on-screen. Looking forward to your take on it!
I have no life, this is it... LOL. Naaa, I had more time than I thought today. Tomorrow is going to be tricky. I may have fractured my wrist, so I need to get it checked out. (minor fracture, painful and swollen, but still usable). Ho hum.damn you move fast!
Nice work in any case.

More soon.
Thank you - and no worries, it's being x-rayed todayDon't wait too long to have your wrist checked out. You don't want to have your bones start mending on their own in a way that'll necessitate some surgery on it.
Thank youUgh. Fractures are no fun but glad you you're on the mend.
I really like your work on lower sensor domes. I wonder…for perhaps larger ships…if the blocky elements could be layered…a wider, more form-fitting layer…a regular width…then the dome.
I liked how SFB magnified the Klingon bridges.

I thought that one might extend that to Federation vessels…a wider D-E deck under a B/C deck, say…not just a turbo-lift bustle but more antennae/risers pointing the way to the elaborate crown Spacedock wears.
That's an interesting theory, but problematic. The Oberth Class was in service long before the events of the Star Trek IV and the return of cetacean life to the Earth.I'm late to the party on the O'Berth class, but I needed to say that the mystery pod is clearly Cetacean Ops. It doesn't have windows because Cetaceans prefer sonar. The pylons probably have 4' diameter dolphin tunnels, like Seaquest DSV.
