Jakotay and Janeway would of make a good couple. On episode 25 the second season "Resolutions" - where the two where stuck on a planet due to a illness - I really saw something between them. I hoped that would of grown as each season passed then at some point turned into a real relationship.

Although...as a Captain of a Star ship I guess it was best she didn't get into any romantic relationship during that time as it would of served as too much of a distraction - as seen in another episode where she fell for a hologram. So, I guess if it had waited till the end of the last season then it would of made Voyager feel more wrapped up to me.

Big Voyager fanboy here... Janeway could of got together with me(in my dreams...).

I still think they dropped the ball on Tom. Supposedly it was him who was supposed to be her Juliet. They claim that two and a half years into the projectt hat it was threshold that suggested that this was not the wisest avenue to peruse... If the maquis had continued to keep trying to kill him and the Fleetkids kept giving him a cold shoulder, sleeping in the captains bed might have been the only safe place for him?

I wanted to see some sort of relationship with Chakotay develop. They hung the carrot out in Resolutions, and snatched it back quicky, never bothering to resolve what happened in that episode!

Although I respected Janeway's reasons up to a point so the relationship would have to be sometime later on. Maybe after Night? When he's trying to get her out of her depression?

In Night, without purpose or direction, completely diffuse, she was acting like Rainman, and had been for 30 days... I often say that she spent a month rocking back and forth mumbling to her self like a crazy person, but really you leave a person with type A personality alone for that long with that sort of social breech and she is going to have more sex than any of us can imagine, by herself, rocking on her whatever just to deal with the huge whole created in her life by no one trying to murder her on a weekly basis caused her.

Some people store sex like a camel stores water, and after Night she would have been good until well after they got home.
