To be fair, Kira seemed to be more proactive while Odo was always more methodical. As for Jadzia, love her or hate her, but she's always been one of the top fighters on the station.
But like all things, perspective and definition of "badass" varies from person to person. Just once, I would have loved it if the main DS9 cast just rumbled with another group of similar numbers in hand to hand fighting. Er, like, the Niners Vs. the Warriors or something like that. Completely against the show's intellectual bend, sure, but it would've been satisfying nonetheless.
