Is it time to put Star Trek to rest?

But here we have almost the entire TOS crew
Which makes sense as we approach The Original Series. Plus it's nice to actually give these characters a little backstory and fill them out as actual character.
constant references to stuff that is just plain weird. I just don't like.
FTFY
Constant retconning etc.
Not really. Not much worse than any other series.
Well TNG retconned the Eugenics war year (which it really did not)
(But it really did)

It would’ve been nice to have seen their lives before becoming attached to the Enterprise. They still don’t exist as anything beyond that connection.

If we had seen their worlds, their lives before being bonded for all eternity would’ve been nice.

SNW is worse than other series .

Unless they mention a specific date the Eugenics War was not moved. Saying 21st century is literally 3-4 years away from the end of the war.. So maybe it was rounded up. But a specific year was not mentioned in TNG. It was one throwaway line. But In SNW it was literally changed to present day. Khan was born in the 2020's. Im not saying the Berman series didn't do any minor retconning or have errors because that would be completely silly to think that. But they never retconned characters or events to the level I have seen with SNW. Maybe we should make a canon thread.... 😂
