Is it still showing where YOU live?

Re: damn..

As of this weekend, all my local theaters are no longer showing Star Trek..
nearest one is 20 miles away...

As more theaters drop the film, it'll get harder for the film to increase it's take..

I have to say, 20 miles is not that far... :p

Seriously, the "local" one here is 15 miles away, and I don't complain...

We went to doggeh's AMC Cantera 30 in Warrenville, IL, tonight, and Google maps says it's 19.2 miles away. It took about half an hour to get there; but in these parts, people do that for anything. So, no sweat. The theater complex is beautiful.

The movie isn't playing in the two multiplexes we'd been going to. I'm glad this one was still playing it.

It is still l playing as of last night in Smyrna,Tn . Literally less than a mile from my apartment. And there are a couple of nice restaurants near by.

I'll probably go again tomorrow. I think it will be time #12. But I've lost count.

It's my favorite bedtime story.

Ah ha, just checked and the next town over is keeping it at least one more week.

June 30th is still four times.

July 1st though July 9th is twice a day.

Well, I just checked the times for the local theatre, and ST09 is gone, as of Wednesday. C'est la vie, n'est pas?

It's long gone here in northern Wisconsin. In this part of the country, only slapstick comedies hang around in the theaters. Our average IQ is around the low 40's, I believe.

It is still playing in the big theaters, but there are only 19 showings today (compared to 67 for Transformers, 26 for Up, and 37 for The Hangover). After the run ends at those places it'll go to the dollar theaters for a long time.

It's still showing in my city, but it's been moved to the somewhat less-popular theatre inside the major shopping mall in the area (which, strangely, is less than half a mile away from the megaplex it was at -- the one with the IMAX screen). There are only two showings each day, which is the same as Imagine That, more than Terminator Salvation, but for some reason less than Angels & Demons and Land of the Lost :wtf: (Wolverine has finally stopped playing there).

So in my city, just outside of Toronto, there's only one cinema still showing the movie, but in Toronto proper, there are seven.

Yes, in the mutiplex it has one theater with multiple showing through the day and night

I think if the multiplex has like 14 screens then they can continue to show it, but if they have like 6 it would be gone.

Well, new movies come out today, so it looks like Star Trek finally got bumped out of the theaters.

However, it has just now started playing in IMAX!

Tell me about it! :D

I go tonight, 8 p.m. showing.

What other IMAXes has it resumed showing at, do you know?

Still showing in the area, but down to two theaters from (I think it was) ten at peak, and a much longer drive.

I wasn't planning on seeing it a fourth time, but it HAS been pulled from a couple of my area theaters.

It's still playing at my local Regal Cinema; I'm going tonight to see it with some friends (my 4th viewing). It'll probably come to the local cheap-o theatre sometime within the next month as well.
